The festivities leading up to the wedding of Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos in Venice have officially started. On Thursday, the former TV news correspondent and the founder of Amazon welcomed a bevy of high-profile guests to their three-day celebration event, with Sánchez wearing a design courtesy of Schiaparelli.
Sánchez wore a look from the Italian luxury fashion house’s spring 2025 couture collection, featuring a strapless design with a balconette-inspired neckline embroidered with greens and blues.

The cocktail dress included an exaggerated cinched waist, providing a striking proportional juxtaposition to the piece with an hourglass shape. The skirt of the dress further featured the embroidered detailing included on the bustline, along with Schiaparelli’s iconic eye motifs throughout.

Sánchez’s hair was pulled back with a few wisps to frame her face. She also wore a full face of makeup, including glossy lips and lined eyes. She wore a pair of statement stud earrings to complete her look, keeping the dress the focal point of her attire.

Sánchez’s dress made its runway debut as part of Paris couture week last January. Daniel Roseberry, the creative director of Schiaparelli since 2019, took hourglass silhouettes to the extreme with his collection, curating designs of various proportions.
“He toyed with extreme volumes, with jackets with low orbital necklines exposing brassieres, exploding bustle backs and the impossibly small waistlines that have become de rigueur since Ozempic heralded a return of size 0 on the red carpet,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.

Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos are hosting a grand wedding celebration in Venice, Italy, spanning multiple days and attracting worldwide attention along with a celebrity-filled guest list. Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Eva Longoria, Tom Brady, Katy Perry and Ivanka Trump, among others, are included on the wedding’s guest list.
