Damian Lillard may be without a team after being waived by the Milwaukee Bucks, but his line of signature shoes rolls on with the announcement of his 10th sneaker.
The Adidas Dame X is defined by wavy lines that wrap over the toe and extend throughout the entire stretch-woven upper to meet at the heel. For its debut colorway, dubbed “Dame’s Light,” this sweeping section is rendered in lime green with a gradient running into blue at the heel and a more faint appearance of orange near the toe tip in the same color. The midsole and outsole are split into green and orange, while the collar and tongue are rendered in black. Adidas branding sits at the heel and lateral toe, while Dame’s logo graces the tongue above an “X” on the lace keeper.

On the tech front, the Dame X boasts a Lightstrike midsole and multidirectional generative rubber outsole.

I wanted to create something that’s accessible, that performs at the highest level, and that feels real on the court and in life.”
At $90, the Dame X will be $30 cheaper than its predecessor and the first Adidas Basketball sneaker to come in under $100.
In addition to the “Dame’s Light” launch colorway, Adidas has also announced the black “Brookfield,” white and black “Zero Metallic” and “Dollar Red” editions to come at a later date.
Lillard suffered an achilles injury during the 2025 NBA Playoffs and is expected to miss the entirety of the 2025-26 season as he recovers. ESPN reported Tuesday that the Bucks have waived the 34-year-old star, with the team still obligated to pay out the $113 million of the four years remaining on his contract.
The Adidas Dame X “Dame’s Light” will release Thursday on Adidas’ app and at select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $90.
